We have planted Yellow Rattle seed in a small area of about 1000 sq metres around the Memorial Oak in the south end of the Tanyard,

Yellow Rattle Rhinanthus minor is hemi-parasitic on grass. We hope that if it takes it will hold the grass back sufficiently to allow a host of other wild flowers to bloom. It does not kill the grass.

Horsham District Council tried it at Chesworth Farm with great success in some fields.
