Open-air services have been held on Sunday evenings, when possible and have been very well attended. Weather permitting, they will be continued during July and August.
As a Parish, Woodmancote is to be congratulated in having raised £275 10s. in payment of the big work of re-roofing the Church. Such an effort in war time is indeed creditable. The National Egg Collection. From April 1st to June 24th inclusive, we have sent 684 eggs – 397 were given in church and privately, and 287 bought with the money collected, viz., £2 2s 5 1/2d.
