The CIC Board:
- has overall responsibility for the strategic direction of Henfield Hub.
- provides oversight to check that the community interest is being served and that the website is financially viable.
- makes final decisions regarding any contentious matters concerning the operation or content of the website.
- reviews and approves subscriptions and advertising fees, taking into account the recommendations of the Managing Agent.
The Board is required to make all decisions in the best interests of the community and its organisations.
The Board will meet as often as is deemed necessary to conduct its business but not less than once per year. It will appoint its own chairperson on an annual basis.
A minimum of two Directors must attend meetings to constitute a quorum. A record of the proceedings will be kept and will be made publicly available on the Hub.
