The Henfield B-P Guild is very proud to have been awarded the “Chairman’s Cup for Community Work” from the National B-P Guild Organisation.
The National Treasurer Peter Skilton awarded the cup to Chairman Robin Wadey on the 1st May. The cup is awarded in recognition of outstanding community involvement. This is the second time that Robin has been in the "Chair" when the award has been given to Henfield.
Whilst most readers of Henfield Hub know that the Henfield B-P Guild do organise our Senior Citizens’ outing in September, put up the Christmas Tree, undertake to help our youth say by painting its Youth Club, maintaining the the Guides Hut, helping raise funds towards the Scout Centre Community Building Appeal there is still much more.
Members of our Henfield B-P Guild also supports at village events such as the Memorial Field, the Summer Fair, Remembrance Sunday, Car Rally shows, and will be in attendance at the up coming "Rock and Ale Festival" of Rye Farm Lane on the Saturday 24th of August 2019. see http://www.henfield-scout-cc.org/event/rock-ale-fe...
If this is not enough a portion of our members annual subscription is donated by the National to help the young in Nepal.
