CPRH will be helping to defend the case based on the negative effects the development would have on the landscape and heritage of Henfield. We must win these arguments to ensure the field stays safe from development for years to come.

We are working closely with Henfield Parish Council and Horsham District District to fight the appeal which is subject to a public inquiry at Horsham District Council's offices starting Tuesday, 6th August 2019 and running for 4 days.

Fairfax are expected to employ a barrister and expert witnesses to make their case. Therefore to bolster our position, CPRH has recently commissioned a leading UK landscape consultancy to challenge the Fairfax arguments.

This essential professional support comes at a price. We need to raise a fighting fund of £5,000 to cover the costs and we are therefore seeking donations from concerned members of the Henfield community.

Could we ask you to contribute whatever you can, between now and mid July?

Any surplus funds that are raised will be used to protect the countryside around Henfield.
