The Friends of St Peter’s is delighted to be hosting one of the “Echoing Air” concerts to be held in the South of England. A dynamic internationally renowned ensemble specialising in the repertoire of the English Baroque, “Echoing Air” has an emphasis on chamber works featuring countertenor voices with baroque instruments.

The programme “Fairest Isle Then and Now” featuring the composers Henry Purcell, G.F. Handel, Henry Lawes, John Eccles and 20th Century composers Walter Bergman, John Joubert and Sir Michael Tippett.
Countertenor and Founder of “Echoing Air”, Steven Rickards,
will be known to many in Sussex from his tutorials at AIMS Summer Music School.
