Some of you will have known Lucie BIshop who started the museum at Henfield. A postcard has been found in her effects sent to her by Mary who was in an internment camp in France in 1943. The camp was named Vittel and was near Epinal in the Vosges mountain area of eastern France. The camp contained English and American civilians who lived locally when war was declared.
Mary's surname could be de Moleans or more likely de Moleyns, and she may have married a Frenchman. If you can track down any of Mary's relatives please Email John Collins at firstname.lastname@example.org
