From 17 February HDC will be publishing their assessment of the sites that have been put forward to them for development and they will invite feedback from residents, community groups and all other interested parties.
In the meantime Stage 1 of the communications process is to encourage all those interested to sign up for updates on the Local Plan process. This will also allow you to read the draft documents and have your say when the consultation goes live from 17 February. All households in the District will also read about the Local Plan process when they receive the next issue of HDC's resident’s magazine ‘Our District’ from 6 January.
The public consultation runs from 17 February until the end of March when all feedback will be considered. The timetable provides for a second round of consultation in the Autumn, aiming for the Inspector, on behalf of the Secretary of State, to examine it in 2021.
