The new shelter, which has a transparent roof to keep out the rain, was funded by Henfield Parish Council from a Section 106 planning agreement and was installed by Acorn Contractors Ltd.
Council Chairman Malcolm Eastwood said "Now users of the leisure facilities in this area can cycle instead of drive knowing that they will have a dry saddle when they return to their bicycles."
Representatives from Sustainable Henfield 2030, Cllr Gill Perry and Tony Baker, were present to celebrate the opening. We hope the new shelter will encourage more cycling, less driving and help the environment.
