Several heavy belts of rain failed to dampen the enthusiasm of the hardy bunch of visitors, organisers and exhibitors on the Henfield Common.

Creating the Fayre involved many months of planning by the Parish Council team, led by Mike Morgan (for the last time!!??) and Nigel Yeo. The show featured stalls from a wide variety of Village Clubs & Societies; the Show Tent with exhibits of cakes, vegetables, flowers, art and photography; the WI Tea Tent; BP Guild Bar & BBQ; and a series of exhibitions and demonstrations, including Duck and Geese Herding (all the way from Lancaster) and Birds of Prey, involving owls, falcons and vultures. (which finally all came back to roost after several escape attempts).

Sincere thanks go to the local businesses that sponsored elements of the Fayre, and without whom it wouldn't be possible. They are: A&B Matters Accountancy; BN5, who produced the Show programme; Coles Automotive; HJ Burt; Marcus Grimes; PHB; Rushfields; and Swains.
