The Friends of St Peter's Church are bound together by a common concern for the history of our village and particularly for that ancient part of our heritage - the fabric and structure of our parish church. The Friends are a group of people from all walks of life, not necessarily members of the St Peter's congregation. Aims • To raise funds for the on-going restoration of St Peter's Church. • To ensure the provision of an increasingly valuable asset for the use of the whole community. Benefits of membership • Annual programme of events • Priority booking, with a range of attractive discounts, for events promoted by The Friends. • Summer Barbeque and a seasonal gatheraing over the Christmas period. • The opportunity for building new friendships in the wider community. No Strings Attached is a Sussex-based a cappella group formed in 2012. We have performed at venues throughout Sussex, Surrey, Kent and London. Nearly all of our arrangements are developed by the group as a whole during rehearsal (or even after the rehearsal, in the pub!); no-one conducts, anyone can take the lead and we all revel in the sheer enjoyment of singing in harmony. The band members (from left to right) are Russ Braithwaite, Alex Sandford, David Spear, Bonnie Flitney and Phil Purdie We are available to book for community and charitable events, and are happy to discuss terms for private functions.
