An annual event in the Henfield calendar since 2008. The Henfield Arts & Crafts Fayre is jam packed with genuine art & craftwork of a high standard. Everybody taking part makes or designs their own products and visitors enjoy finding out about all the different skills and techniques on display. The event is a great place to find some unique, beautifully made Christmas gifts & the event raises funds for HART each year.
Cancelled:- 2020 Henfield's Festival of Gardens & Arts On behalf of the G&A Committee I advise of the cancellation of this year’s G&A Arts festival. We regret having to take this decision which is taken given the feedback we receive from supporting participants, be they garden openers, venue managers and artists on hearing advise from HM Government and of other events cancelled in our District. Rest assured that it was not a decision that the committee undertook lightly and we are sorry that donations to charities which our popular festival facilitates will be impacted. Separately we will be talking to our sponsors and we thank you all for the support you have given us. Kenneth McIntosh for the G&A Committee
2 hours of peace, writing different scripts for different projects, with or without illustration. Coffee break half way through. - - Sadly the Calligraphy Club is no longer operating - -
I have now retired from teaching Patchwork and Quilting. I would like to thank all my students for attending my classes and I hope that you will continue to enjoy the craft and spread the skills. I am still making quilts and will be exhibiting in my garden as part of the Henfield Gardens and Arts Festival which is held on the second weekend of June every year. In addition I organised a Stash Sale every February. The next one is on Sunday 9th February 2020 from 10.00 to 1.30 in the Henfield Hall. Lots of pre-loved fabrics, threads, yarns, books and patterns. All textile related. Free entry. Refreshments for sale with all profits going to charity.
