The Henfield Club has a wonderfully well stocked bar, with facilities that include two full-size snooker tables and an invitingly comfortable multi-purpose function room. It is a place where snooker, crib, darts, chess is frequently played; art is displayed, corporate members and organisations meet including the Royal British Legion Sussex Weald Branch. Commemorative public events are organised and social fun events held for the benefit of members and in support of the community. It is a great Club to belong to, where you can to take as much, or give as little as you are comfortable with; there is absolutely no pressure. Feel free to pop in and experience our friendly welcome and find out more about us. Anyone from 18 and above is welcome.

Dementia can happen to anyone and there's currently no cure. There are 850,000 people with dementia in the UK and the number is set to rise to 1 million by 2021. At Alzheimer's Society, we believe passionately that life doesn't end when dementia begins. We are here for anyone affected by dementia, and we do everything we can to keep people with dementia connected to their lives and the people who matter most.
We are a thriving friendly club for those interested in art. At these, respected guest artists are invited to demonstrate in their preferred medium techniques and their approach to various subjects. Art books & dvds are available as are painting-in/out sessions and other special events with like-minded people. Try us out. All are welcome and feel free to come to observe, learn, refresh, enthuse and be passive or active. See our events calendar

Join our Mummy Club Facebook page, meet and chat with local mums through our online forum and never feel alone Our story Julia and Naomi are both local mums and Mummy's to Theo 15 months and Jasmine 4 years & Reuben 18 months. I'm Julia and I've lived in the area for 7 years, whilst still working in London. I met my lovely friend Naomi a few years ago bc (before children at a messy summer party!). After having Theo and with a lot more local time on my hands (no commute!) I realized since moving here I had had little chance to meet new friends and wanted to feel more a part of the community. This got me thinking and, after chatting through with Naomi. we thought wouldn't it be great if there was a local forum for local mums and mums to be.... so here we are!!! This is 'your' group, for now it's predominantly an online forum through Facebook but we are sure it will evolve over time. Please join our Facebook page and invite your friends and most importantly let us know what you want this group to do, events you want to set up etc. A few suggestions below.... * Share experiences * Coffee mornings/afternoons * Picnics * Play times (baby & toddler) * Get or give advice * Share clothes & toys * Baby sitting exchange * Share knowledge of local events/activities You're never alone...
