Annelise Reynard aged 70 from Henfield, has been supporting St Barnabas House for the past 11 years, since her husband Colin passed away at the hospice.

As part of her fantastic fundraising, Annelise has decided to take on a challenge that many wouldn't, let alone a 70 year old lady! On Friday 14 June 2013 Annelise will be jumping out of a helicopter and sky diving her way through the atmosphere over the Eiger Mountain in Switzerland.

Said Annalise, 'My son will be getting married in the mountains the day after my jump. He kindly booked it for me, without me knowing, as a 70th birthday present. He has a rather interesting sense of humour!

'I have supported St Barnabas House for the past 11 years, and alongside many other activities set up the Colin Reynard Trophy at the Singing Hills Golf Club in Albourne, West Sussex. I did a wing walk 10 years ago and a sky dive 7 years ago, but I have to say this is my most terrifying challenge to date.

'I have always been well supported in all my fundraising attempts and ever since my husband passed away I have tried my hardest to give something back for those wonderful last days he spent at St Barnabas, surrounded by love, kindness and understanding for him, myself and my son.'

Said Neil Francis, Community Fundraising Manager for St Barnabas House, 'We are extremely thankful to Annelise for once again supporting St Barnabas House and in such an adventurous way! Her bravery goes to show that there is no age limit to fundraising!

'Annelise is an exceptional role model to others and on behalf of all the patients and families at St Barnabas House, I would like to thank her for her continuous courageousness.'
