The group has been running for eighteen months and in that time more than sixteen bereaved people have joined us.

Some have attended meetings eight or nine times before they felt ready to move on,  while others have come just three or four times.   It is a personal matter;  everyone has different needs just as every bereavement is different.

Those people who have attended the group say that they found it enormously helpful to talk in a quiet, safe environment with others in a similar situation.    You can talk and share as much or as little as you wish and everything you say is treated in total confidence.

If you feel you might benefit from contact with other bereaved people, do come along.   Each meeting lasts for just one hour and is very informal - and includes a cup of tea and a biscuit!

The group meets on the third Thursday of every month at 4.15pm at the Haven, Hewitts, Henfield, BN5 9DT.

Anyone who is interested in joining in should phone Louise at St. Peter’s, Henfield, Church Office on 01273 495532.   She will ask one of the volunteers to contact you, who can also arrange transport if necessary.   Alternatively, just come along to the Haven on the day if that feels easier for you.
