On Thursday 25th July the Bishop Of Chichester, Dr Martin Warner, visited St. Peter’s Henfield to baptise and confirm candidates from across the local area. Including 5 of our own candidates, 17 people were confirmed of whom 4 were baptised first.

It was the hottest day of the year so far, so although the worship was inspiring and the Bishop’s sermon very uplifting, the congregation of 150, were all eager to enjoy the wonderful refreshments available afterwards. It was a joy to offer hospitality to members of other churches and their families. We continue to pray for Alison Scales-Burton, Elaine Pond-Barrett, Fraisie Ellis, Rosanna May and Mai Neale-Stevens who all worship at St Peter’s, Henfield, as they begin the next stage of their faith journey.
