Hello everyone! At Monday evening's first meeting of SH2030's Consumer action group, Pete Gumbrell from the Henfield Shed spoke about what they do there - it's an amazing local charity which repairs / repurposes wooden items and offcuts, as well as plastic and, starting soon, metal. It's a great community hub, always welcoming and enthusiastic about what they do. They never agree to a job that could be done elsewhere in the village, as they don't want to tread on anyone's toes. They're always happy for anyone to drop by for a chat - opening hours are: Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am until 1pm. You can find the Shed behind the Southdown Gallery in the High Street, so if you have any timber gathering dust in your garage why not donate it to the Shed so it can be refurbished and turned into something new.
