The Henfield Shed – a community workshop for residents of Henfield and surrounding areas completed its first assignment this week.

Commissioned to produce three types of bird nesting boxes to attract different birds to nest, a small team from the shed set about the design and build. The boxes will be placed on trees at the three local Commons very shortly. Made using tools donated to the shed and with the materials paid for by our funders, the shed has got off to a ‘flying’ start.

We are now on the lookout for other community projects where the members can use their woodworking skills. Please contact us via the link on our web site if you know of other projects which can be undertaken.
